I'm paddling to support Cancer Council Victoria
Every year, over 31,600 Victorians hear the words ‘you have cancer’. Their lives will change in an instant, as will those of the people around them.
I'm a registered nurse and a mother of two boys. I love open water swimming, Port Phillip bay and my local community, and I work to promote health and wellbeing. Through my nursing career I have looked after many people of all ages who have battled cancer, fought and overcome it or sadly lost the fight. By paddling across the bay and joining Australia’s largest stand up paddle event, I am helping Cancer Council Victoria fund raise to change the odds.
By supporting me, you’ll be funding ground-breaking cancer research, prevention programs and support services that offer a helping hand to all people affected by cancer.
